Broadway Tower Country Park



Built on an ancient beacon site, Broadway Tower has a colourful history as - amongst others - home to the renowned printing press of Sir Thomas Phillips, country retreat for Pre-Raphaelite artists, notably the artist, designer, writer, craftsman, and socialist William Morris, location for the studies of the distinguished archeologist Sir Arthur Evans, and farmhouse.

Shakespeare Birthplace Trust



William Shakespeare was born in Stratford in 1564, was brought up and educated there and married a woman from the nearby hamlet of Shottery. Later he bought property in and around the town, including one of the largest houses, New Place. Following his death there, in 1616, he was buried in the parish church. Throughout his life, then, he remained in close touch with his native town, even though, at the height of his career, much of his time was spent in London. The Stratford he knew was certainly very different from today's - in size, smell, noise and general atmosphere.

Snowshill Lavender Farm



Snowshill Lavender Farm is situated at Snowshill.Lavender is grown in the fields in which you walk around,you can also purchase Lavender and other crafts from their shop and enjoy afternoon tea. 

Snowshill Manor



Snowshill Manor belongs to the National Trust, and is sitauted in the heart of the beautiful Cotswold village of Snowshill. This Cotswold manor house contains Charles Paget Wades extraordinary collection of  Arts and Crafts with something to interest everyone from English, European furniture,musical instruments, toys even Japanese Samurai armour. There is a beautiful garden to look around a resturant with stunning views over the Cotswolds and a shop selling souvenirs.

Evesham Country Park



Evesham Country Park is at the northern end of Evesham by pass A46 at the junction with the Stratford Road. There is lots to do here a large retail shopping area, a light Railway for children and adults alike to enjoy, a Vale Wildlife vistor centre or you could just enjoy a stroll around the 130 acre estate.

 



Sudeley Castle & Gardens



Sudeley Castle and Gardens is set against the beautiful backdrop of the Cotswold Hills. Sudeley Castle is rich in history with royal connections spanning through the centuries. It was once home to Queen Katherine Parr, following her marriage to Sir Thomas Seymour. Sudeley was neglected and derelict for two hundred years. In 1837, Sudeley was bought by John and William Dent they began an ambitious restoration programme. Which brings it today in to a wonderfully restored castle. Sudeley has many exhibitions to see, gardens to stroll around plants centre, coffee shop and a exciting new Adventure playground.

The Cotswold Way



The Cotswold Way is a 103 mile long distance walk from Chipping Campden to the Roman city of Bath.This walk gives you amazing views across the Cotswolds along your walk you will  encounter unspoiled woodland, prehistoric hill forts and ancient burial barrows.

It is claimed to be one of the best marked walks in England.

 

 



Cheltenham Racecourse



Cheltenham Racecourse is approx 30 minutes drive away from Peace Haven.Cheltenham Racecourse holds lots of events during the year .Starting in October ,Cheltenham Races brings sixteen race days to you and the best in steeplechasers hurdlers,trainers and jockeys. Gold . The most popular  event is Cheltenham Gold Cup Week which is 10th March-15th March 2008

Batsford Arboretum

Batsford Arboretum Garden centre  and Cotswold Falconry is approx a 15 minute drive from Peace Haven.Open from beginning of February to mid November.A most enchanting place to vist from Spring with the carpet of snowdrops to Winter with Jack Frost painting the trees .A most spectacular unique experience a must if you come to the Cotswolds.The garden centre has many rare and unusual trees,shrubs,apline plants and lots more.The Falconry Centre has displays of Falcons,Owls,Eagles,Kites and Vultures.

The Domestic Fowl Trust is situated in the village of Honeybourne.It hosts a wide variety of hens including rare breeds.There is a large shop  in which you can buy anything from chicks to hen houses.Well worth a vist  with a large childrens play area.

Ragley Hall

Spectacular family home of the Marquess and Marchioness of Hertford.Wonderful house with a fine collection of China and antiques.27 acres of gardens ,stables ,woodland walks,Jerwood scupture park and a great adventure playground for the children.
