Welcome to Peace Haven Holiday Lets

Gill and Terry Peace and Fiona Humphreys invite you to sample the hospitality of the region in seven newly converted barn cottages, luxuriously appointed for self catering comfort, sleeping two and three guests. A chair/bed is available (more suitable for children) to increase capacity to four persons.

Farm Corner Cottage, sleeping two, has been designed for wheelchair access. There is furniture outside in the recently landscaped gardens on which to enjoy the sun and a barbecue and patio for warm evenings outside. A communal area with magazines and board games is available for when the weather is not so pleasant.

Peace Haven is situated on the outskirts of the rural village of Honeybourne (literally ‘place of honey by the stream’), on the doorstep of the Cotswolds. The railway station (Cotswold Line) is three minutes from your door, with a regular service to Oxford (45min) and Worcester (35min) for connections to the North and South-west. As well as having a direct service to London Paddington (via Oxford, 1h 40min) there are many charming Cotswold villages to explore with stations or bus connections along this line. Honeybourne is between Evesham and Broadway, easily reached by car from all directions, and there is onsite parking.

Honeybourne village is only five minutes walk away with a post office, garage, shops for all you domestic needs – food, beverages, fresh local produce, and it has two friendly pubs that serve great home-cooked meals.

Around Peace Haven there are a wealth of opportunities for activity; in the village there is the Domestic Fowl Trust that has many different species of birds and domestic animals (a great afternoon out, especially educational for children!); there is no shortage of signposted country walks in the hills of the Cotswolds taking in ancient market towns; for the adventurous there’s a glider club 2 miles away; numerous golf courses within a short drive, and fishing both in the River Avon and at nearby trout pools. There is a riding school one mile away.

In the next village of Bretforton, the thatched Fleece Inn holds regular events, including a CamRA beer festival and Morris dancing.

Stratford upon Avon is only twenty minutes drive away, offering the renowned races and a myriad of multicultural restaurants and shops, as well as the birth place of Shakespeare museum and the world famous Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

We will be glad to give you any information we can, whatever it is that you wish to do.

Other attractions around the area that are still convenient to Peace Haven also include Cheltenham Races, Toddington Steam Railway, Winchcombe Beer Festival, Stow Horse Fair, and various Point-to-Point meetings.
